One Day Tour Komodo

Experience the legendary Komodo National Park in a single action-packed day from Labuan Bajo. This full-day boat trip takes you face-to-face with the world’s largest living lizard — the Komodo dragon — on the island that bears its name, while also rewarding you with some of the best snorkeling in Southeast Asia.

The crystal-clear waters of the Flores Sea hide thriving coral gardens, sea turtles, reef sharks, and vibrant schools of tropical fish. Above the waterline, volcanic ridgelines and turquoise bays form a landscape unlike anywhere else on earth.

This is the ideal introduction to Komodo National Park for travelers with limited time, combining wildlife, adventure, and natural beauty into one unforgettable day on the water.

Labuan Bajo Harbor
Labuan Bajo Harbor — Departure Your adventure begins at Labuan Bajo harbor, where a traditional wooden phinisi or speedboat awaits. The crew briefs you on safety, serves welcome drinks, and sets off through the calm blue waters of the Flores Sea as the town skyline fades behind you. Komodo Island — Dragon Trek Komodo Island is the primary habitat of the Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis), the world's largest living lizard, growing up to 3 meters and weighing over 70 kg. Your licensed park ranger leads you along the main trail through open savanna and dry forest where dragons roam freely — basking in the sun, patrolling water holes, and resting in the shade. The trek is a genuine wildlife encounter, not a zoo exhibit. Pink Beach (Pantai Merah) — Snorkeling One of only seven pink-sand beaches in the world, Pink Beach gets its rosy hue from fragments of red coral mixed with white sand. The beach is flanked by coral gardens that begin just meters from shore — home to sea turtles, reef sharks, clownfish, and hundreds of species of tropical fish. Snorkel equipment is provided; the water is typically calm and visibility excellent. Manta Point — Open Water Encounter Manta Point is one of the most reliable sites in Indonesia to swim alongside oceanic manta rays. These gentle giants — with wingspans up to 5 meters — gather here to feed on plankton-rich currents funneled between the islands. You enter the water alongside them for a free-swimming encounter that most guests describe as the highlight of the entire trip. Return to Labuan Bajo The boat makes its way back as the afternoon light turns golden. Lunch is served on board — a freshly prepared Indonesian spread with rice, grilled fish, vegetables, and fruit. You arrive back at the harbor in the late afternoon, sunburned and satisfied, with one full day in the national park behind you.
